Eligibility:

ICambio programs are open to students who are at least 18 years old and have finished at least one year of university studies with a minimum GPA of  2.5 on a 4.0 scale.  The programs are available to students of all Spanish levels and nationalities.  Participants must obtain the proper student visa.

Application Deadlines

Mini-Mester:  November 1
Semester 1:     November 1
Semester 2:     April 1

ICambio accepts applications after the deadline only if space is still available. Due to the popularity of our programs and to arrange credit transfer to your home university, we encourage you to apply early. Available openings are filled in the order of applications received. When your application has been accepted, you will receive a packet containing additional forms and instructions.  


Application Procedures

1. Print out the Application Form. Carefully read the Terms & Conditions before you fill out and sign the application.

2. Sign the Permission to Study Abroad Form. Make sure that your school will accept the credit for our program. We strongly suggest that you make an appointment with your school's study abroad department for guidelines.

3. Your completed application packet should contain the following:

  Signed Permission to Study Abroad Form
  Completed ICambio Application Form
  Official copy of your transcript 
  Official $100 Application Fee (non-refundable / deducted from your total program cost)

4.  We will send you and your study abroad advisor acceptance notification via email within two weeks of receiving your completed application.
