Attendance: Regular class attendance is
mandatory. Intensive Spanish classes meet every weekday during the
semester for four hours. University classes meet throughout the
semester but your specific class schedule will not be finalized until
the mandatory on-site orientation.
Transcripts: Within two months from the
program completion your home university will receive an official
transcript with grades issued by the local university. ICambio will supply an explanation of the local grading scale
for your home university. It is important
that you follow your university’s credit approval process as each
institution has particular requirements.
Accreditation:
A nationally accredited university
certifies all ICambio semester programs. Our partner universities are
the Universidad Abierta Interamericana in Argentina and Universidad
Viña del Mar in Chile. Courses are either taught by faculty of
the university or of Latin Immersion and meet or exceed the generally
accepted standard of 15 contact hours (50 minutes/hour) of class time
per credit hour.
You should check with an advisor at your university concerning whether
or not additional information (course syllabus, description, etc.) is
required to guarantee credit acceptance. We will send such information
upon request.
