Spanish Program Structure
Our Spanish Programs are designed so you can earn academic
credit, we have 12 Spanish levels that cover all SPAN 101
– 404. The Spanish curriculum is the same in all our locations
so you can study in up to 4 cities.
The classes are small (6 students max.) and have a good balance
of grammar and conversation topics that will help you to reach
panish fluency in short period of time.

All our Spanish language programs include an orientation
and 24- hr assistance.
Semester
Spanish Program (16 weeks):
Our academic semester abroad Spanish programs are available
to college/university students who want to study for a semester.
Our start dates suit perfectly the USA semester start dates.
You can live with a local family, share an apartment, or arrange
your own accommodation.
Spanish Programs: 20 hrs a week, 6 students max, class materials
and Spanish test are included.
Our Spanish programs are available in Argentina (Buenos Aires
and Bariloche), Chile (Santiago), and Peru (Lima and Cusco).
We recommend these cities in South America because of their
standards of living, safety and cultural opportunities. You
can combine up to 4 cities during your studies.

Winter Session (2 – 4 weeks):
The two- four weeks Spanish programs (group classes 20 hrs/wk) are ideal for students of all Spanish levels who do not have a lot of time available but still want to take their Spanish to the next level.
Start date: December & January, All Spanish Levels
You have 3 options: Group lesson (20 hrs), Private lesson (20 hrs) or Super Intensive (25 hrs)
Multiple location: Available minimum 2 weeks per city (Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires, Bariloche)
Housing: Share apartment, host family or small residency (only Chile)
Your winter is our summer, you can choose our winter program Spanish +SURF!! (only in Lima)

Spanish Program Details
The standard Course
20 hours per week, provides you plenty of instruction while leaving free time for practicing: in your homestay, at restaurants, in stores, etc. Small group sizes (maximum 6 ) and our 12 Spanish level allow each student to receive substantial individual attention and feedback from the teachers.
Private Tuition
One-to-one instruction is also available for students seeking maximum individual attention or to work at a slower or faster pace than the group Spanish courses.
Super Intensive Programs 25 & 30 hrs programs
Students may also take additional private hours of Spanish classes at reduced rates in both Argentina, Chile and now in Lima Peru.
Special Interest Programs:
Students with special interests, such as health care, business, law, or social services, can either take a private course or a group course supplemented with individual lessons. (Because is a tailor made program has a extra charge of 25%)
NOTE: All classes are either in the morning (9-1) session or in the afternoon (2-6).

Materials
You will receive a ECELA Spanish book per each level, also we recommend that you bring a dictionary and a verb book in your language, the classes will manly in Spanish.
Teachers
Our teachers are native speakers with university educations and are experienced teaching Spanish to foreigners. Many of our Teachers had learned a second language themselves and understand the student's perspective. They are devoted to helping students best reach their goals and to keeping the classes enjoyable and entertaining.
