Duration of Internships:
You choose the duration of your internship completely according
to your schedule and your wishes (2 months to 1 year). In
order to have sufficient time to adjust to the country, the
people and the language and to become familiar with your internship
position.
Internship Development:
You will have an interview during the last two weeks of class.
We will prepare you.
The positions are normally full time (40 -48 hrs a week) Monday
to Friday.
What would you normally do during your internship? In some
companies you will participate in special projects and assist
with everyday work. The positions are usually as assistants
or complement to an area of the company. They are not managerial.
All internships are supervised and include a monthly evaluation.
Students may arrange for credit through their home university.

Getting Ready with your Spanish...
Classes:
4 weeks of group lessons (20 hrs a week) included in the program.
Spanish level requested: You need to reach
an intermediate Spanish level. If you are acomplete beginner
you will need to take a least 8 weeks of class before starting
your internship.
Spanish Class Structure:
Our group classes have a maximum of 6 people, 12 Spanish levels
to ensure personalized instruction. Students progress through
the levels and every two weeks exams are given to re-assign
advancing students into their new classes. More

Accommodation (Optional): Shared apartment
(single and double options) family home-stay half board.
If your program is longer than 4 months we will recommend
to takeaccommodation for no more than 8 weeks and find your
own place for the rest of the duration of your internship.
Credit Transfer:
You will receive a regular ICAMBIO certificated for your Spanish
Program and your Internships experience. The number of credit
is up to your home University.

the time of your application for an internship a one-time
registration and handling fee of US$ 50 will be due. This
fee includes the translation and/or adjustment of your resume
as well as the approach with possible companies for your internship.
