Get exposure to the reality of South America, we want to help. All the profits of the projects are given to the social organization that you will work with.

In co-operation with different social institutions and non-profit organizations we offer various voluntary projects in South America. You will have a hands-on experience with the people and will be responsible for the care of the ill and homeless children, handicapped or old people.

This program includes:

. 4 weeks of Spanish program (minimum)
. 4 weeks of volunteer work

Duration of volunteer programs: You choose the duration of your volunteer program according to your schedule and your interests (1 - 6 months). To have sufficient time to become familiar with the country and the people and to adjust to the language and to your volunteer position, we recommend you to allow at least two months for your volunteer in Chile.

Classes: 4 week Group Lessons (20 hrs a week) minimum prior to your proyect start date. Our group classes have a maximum of 6 people to ensure personalized instruction. Students progress through the levels and every two weeks exams are given to re-assign advancing students into their new classes.

optional Accommodation: Shared apartment (single and double room) family home-stay half board.

Application:
Send us your resume (if possible in Spanish) with a recent photo. If your Spanish skills are not that good - don't worry - the Icambio team will do the translation and/or correction of your resume. If required we also adjust your application to Chilean standards. At least 4 weeks prior toyour program start.

Tell us about your desired work field, planned duration of the volunteer,preferences regarding accommodation, and Spanish background (Spanish intermediate level is required)

Prices:
Regular price of your Spanish Program + 70 per week / if you take a program of 8 week or more the price is only $560.
