Pre-Departure
What pre-departure information is
provided?
We keep in constant contact with our students via email
before their departure. These emails include information
regarding visa and passport applications, necessary documents,
tips for traveling and studying abroad, as well as program
specific information. Each student is assigned a study abroad
specialist who will help answer any questions that may arise.
Should I get an International Student
Identity Card?
The International Student Identity Card
(ISIC) is the only internationally accepted student ID card.
Since its launch in 1968, the ISIC has helped over 40 million
students to get the most out of their travel experience.
If you plan to travel after your program ends, the ISIC
card offers an affordable option for insurance.
With access to a global network of affordable and specialized
student services, the ISIC is your passport to more than
32,000 discounts and benefits in 106 countries worldwide.
You can obtain the ISIC from STA travel
(http://www.statravel.com). You must have a passport size
photo and be able to prove you are a student (by submitting
a valid student ID, a current class schedule, or a tuition
receipt).
What happens upon arrival?
You will be picked up at the airport and
taken to your lodging.
